About Minou

Who is behind Minou

Minou is published by Klemstudio, in Quebec. The app was born in Montreal, and now works across Canada and in France, in English and French. Why a notebook of the neighbourhood's cats? The idea is told on the home page.

Free, and why it stays free

• The alert is free. Charging to look for your cat would hit those who can't afford it first, at the only moment the app really matters.
• No ads, no data sold. An app that protects privacy doesn't sell it through the back door. What Minou publishes, and when.
• Nothing to buy to do more. The people who photograph the most fill in everyone's map: we don't make them pay.
