Why Minou
The day a cat goes missing, it's too late to start
A lost cat app knows nothing on the day you need it: nobody opened it before, and the alert goes nowhere.
Minou starts earlier. By photographing the cats you meet, just for fun, you and your neighbours build, without thinking about it, the neighbourhood's memory: who this cat is, where they're seen, and when. The day one of them doesn't come home, that memory and those neighbours are already there.
How
Three steps

Photograph
You meet a cat: one photo in the app, and they join your Dex, the collection of cats you've met.

The neighbourhood remembers
Every time a neighbour photographs them in turn, their card grows. Their corner and hours are shown to their owner only, and to the neighbourhood during an alert.

Alert
The day they go missing, their owner starts a free alert, which can notify neighbours who turned on alerts.
The promise
A map of cats, not of people
Rounded
A photo's location is rounded to about a hundred metres.
Delayed
Neighbours see it 45 minutes later: no one follows a cat live.
Exact only if missing
By the owner's decision, during the alert.
