Are you a shelter or a humane society?
When someone tells you their cat is lost, you can point them to Minou: they add their cat with a photo from their gallery, and the alert can notify neighbours who turned on alerts. It's free for everyone, with no ads, and no data is sold.

What Minou does
- Someone adds their cat and starts an alert, for free, even far from home (in the latest version of the app).
- The alert can notify neighbours near them who turned on alerts.
- Neighbours photograph the cats they meet: each card keeps the photos and their date.
- You can search for a cat by name in the app.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't replace your registry, your listings, or a call to animal services.
- It doesn't promise to find a cat: the alert reaches as far as the neighbours who have Minou.
- It has no tool made for shelters.
- It publishes no exact location, except a missing cat's, during their alert.
Privacy
Locations are rounded to about a hundred metres and published 45 minutes later. The exact location only appears for a missing cat, by their owner's decision, and only for sightings after the alert starts, except for a cat added by their owner from home, whose whole history becomes exact during the alert.
